We are looking for a Data Engineer - Migration, **Main Responsibilities:** ---------------------------------- * Analyze the logic embedded in ETL processes developed in **Pentaho (PDI)**. * Document, translate, and migrate such logic into notebooks in **Databricks**. * Execute comparative testing to ensure migration accuracy. * Generate comprehensive technical documentation for the migrated process. * Identify risks and blockers, and periodically report progress. * Ensure data quality and functional consistency between source and destination. **Requirements:** * **Prior Experience:** 1–3 years in ETL processes or similar roles (migration experience preferred). * **Required Technical Knowledge:** + Pentaho Data Integration (PDI): interpretation of **jobs (.kjb)** and **transformations (.ktr)**. + Databricks / Spark (preferably **PySpark**): use of notebooks, DataFrames, and handling of Parquet/Delta formats. + SQL: joins, aggregations, subqueries, and basic window functions. + Python: solid foundations for data manipulation. * **Soft Skills:** + Attention to detail and strong analytical ability. + Good communication and collaborative teamwork skills. + Proactivity and strong willingness to learn new technologies. * **Academic Background:** Degrees related to Computer Science, Information Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, or similar fields. * English: Intermediate level preferred (not mandatory). **We Offer:** -------------- * Career development plan and professional growth opportunities. * Continuous training and access to learning platforms. * Participation in high-impact digital transformation projects. * Hybrid or remote work arrangements depending on the project. * Collaborative, flexible, and multicultural work environment. * NEORIS corporate benefits according to country.
