Safety, reliability, kindness, simplicity, and accountability are the core values required to assume these responsibilities: * Develop and manage engineering documents related to technical data issued by manufacturers, aviation authorities, and structural damage, including analysis of information issued by manufacturers or authorities to determine applicability to specific aircraft, required resources, and compliance timelines—thus correcting unsafe conditions, avoiding fines and sanctions against the company, and ensuring structural airworthiness of aircraft. * Manage reported structural damage and repairs on the company’s aircraft by issuing inquiries to manufacturers regarding out-of-limit conditions or those not covered in technical documentation, as well as auditing and recording damage and structural repair reports during aircraft acceptance and return—ensuring structural integrity of the company’s aircraft. * Maintain appropriate and continuous communication with aircraft and component manufacturers to seek solutions concerning damage, repairs, failures, new technologies, developments, reliability issues, and contractual matters related to the company’s aircraft—thus optimizing aircraft ground time and increasing fleet reliability. * Provide engineering technical support or internal training on part identification, interchangeability, repairs, or special processes; develop and implement instructions to guide and promote proper use of the company’s software and correct handling of contractual situations—improving utilization of the company’s IT resources and ensuring reliable and accurate information. * Implement company requirements for special project development by generating innovative ideas contributing to process evolution and executing comprehensive project management for global project execution—enhancing safety and reliability of maintenance work within the structural engineering domain. * Continuously improve processes to reduce maintenance costs and optimize aircraft ground time. **Preferred qualifications for this position include:** * Minimum 2 years of experience in aerospace engineering. * Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering. * Intermediate to advanced Excel skills. * Power BI. * AMOS proficiency is desirable. * Familiarity with Airbus and Boeing manuals is desirable. * Documentation analysis skills.
