We run a fast\-moving technology team responsible for the marketing, sales, and data infrastructure that drives the business. We're in an active growth phase — migrating off legacy systems, investing in our data foundation, and building the modern tooling that will scale with the company. **The Role**Do you enjoy building software that helps kids succeed in school? Every tutor we place, every parent we reach, and every student we help starts with the systems our technology team builds. We're looking for a Full\-Stack Engineer who wants to own meaningful pieces of that — working across the stack, from the data pipelines and integrations that run the business today, to the customer\-facing portals that will define how Grade Potential serves families tomorrow. You'll partner directly with marketing, sales, and operations leadership — building the tools that unblock teams, fixing the data flows that keep our systems honest, and helping us evolve how we deliver value to our staff, parents, and tutors. This role requires real range. You'll write a React component one day, a Python service the next, and a BigQuery pipeline the day after — and you'll bring strong engineering instincts to all of it. You take ownership end\-to\-end, communicate clearly with non\-technical stakeholders, catch the details that would otherwise derail a project, and bring ideas without being asked. You also use AI tools fluently as part of how you work — to move faster, go deeper into unfamiliar territory, and ship more than you could alone. **What You’ll Do*** Build and maintain API integrations between platforms — for example, connecting our telephony platform with our CRM and BigQuery so call data, routing, and agent state stay in sync. * Build Python backend services and data pipelines on AWS, including the foundation of our tutor and client portals. * Build new applications and internal tools — queue dashboards, lead routing, workflow automation, the backoffice staff dashboard — partnering with the teams who will use them. * Maintain and extend our BigQuery data foundation, adding new sources as systems come online and keeping silver and gold views clean. * Close conversion feedback loops between systems so platforms like Google Ads optimize toward paying customers, not just clicks. * Build and maintain Metabase dashboards covering campaign ROI, lead\-to\-customer conversion, recruiter efficiency, and pricing signals. * Maintain WordPress\-on\-AWS and our other marketing properties so the team can ship changes without depending on external vendors. * Support platform migrations — Zoho, a new telephony platform, and decommissioning legacy systems cleanly. * Document your work — AWS architecture, services, and integrations — well enough that another engineer can pick it up. **Qualifications****Required*** 4\+ years of full\-stack engineering experience. * Strong with TypeScript / Node.js / React for frontend and full\-stack web work. * Strong with Python for backend services and data pipelines. * Comfortable with both SQL and NoSQL — our stack spans MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, and BigQuery, and you'll work in each regularly. * Production\-quality SQL: analytical queries, views, and pipeline maintenance. * Strong at building reliable integrations between SaaS platforms (CRM, telephony, marketing) and internal data stores via APIs and webhooks. * Strong at building internal tools quickly — data tables, admin dashboards, queue interfaces, workflow UIs that real teams use every day. * AWS experience: can deploy and maintain production infrastructure (EC2, RDS, CloudFront, SES). * Solid understanding of data migration — moving records between systems without losing integrity or breaking downstream dependencies. * Track record of owning work end\-to\-end and shipping production software that gets used. * Clear written and verbal communication, including with non\-technical stakeholders. * Fluent with modern AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or equivalent). You use them to accelerate your work, navigate unfamiliar codebases, and raise the quality of what you ship — not as a replacement for engineering judgment. **Nice to Have*** Experience building customer\-facing web or mobile portals. * Experience integrating telephony or CRM platforms * Familiarity with Stape, Google Tag Manager, GA4, or server\-side tracking. * Experience with Google Ads API or offline conversion imports. * Familiarity with Asterisk, SIP, or telephony infrastructure. * Experience with Meteor.js
