Key duties include configuring and maintaining monitoring tools, analyzing data to identify issues, preparing reports, implementing improvements, and providing technical support. **Requirements** Key Responsibilities * **System and Network Monitoring:** Configure and maintain tools to measure performance, latency, availability, and security. * **Data Analysis:** Collect and analyze data to identify issues, predict failures, and optimize performance. * **Reporting and Documentation:** Prepare periodic reports and recommendations based on collected data. * **Maintenance and Troubleshooting:** Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues related to monitoring tools. * **Technical Support:** Provide technical support to end users and other system administrators. * **Automation:** Develop scripts to automate routine tasks. Technical Skills * **Operating Systems:** Intermediate knowledge of operating systems, primarily Linux or Unix. Routine use of command-line tools for operations. * **Monitoring Tools:** Experience with at least one system and network monitoring tool (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, checkMK, etc.). * **Databases:** Experience with databases (e.g., SQL, Oracle). * **Programming and Scripting:** Ability to write basic scripts and automate tasks. * **Networking and Security:** Knowledge of network protocols. **Additional Information** * 24/7 on-call duty possible. * Team-oriented work environment; the candidate will join a multidisciplinary support team.
