Where no two days are the same. **Job Description** ------------------- We are looking for a **Server Virtualization Engineer/ Server admin migration engineer** with strong Windows infrastructure experience to support **infrastructure and file server migration activities** within an IT M\&A environment. While the role requires solid expertise in **virtualized server environments**, it also involves **hands\-on execution of data and file migrations** from start to finish. ### **Key Responsibilities** * Administer and support **VMware\-based virtualized environments** across production and non\-production systems. * Execute **infrastructure and file server migrations**, including discovery, planning, migration, validation, and post\-migration support. * Perform data migrations using tools such as **Robocopy, RClone, and PowerShell scripts**. * Manage **Windows file servers**, including NTFS permissions and Windows shares. * Support **Active Directory and Azure AD / Entra ID** activities related to access and migrations. * Collaborate with networking, security, cloud, and third\-party teams to enable migration readiness. * Create and maintain **technical documentation** and provide status updates to stakeholders. * Participate in technical meetings and communicate effectively with technical and non\-technical teams ### **Required Skills** * Strong english B2 english skills * Strong experience in **VMware** and **Windows Server administration**. * Experience with **on\-premise datacenter environments**. * Hands\-on exposure to **file and data migrations**. * Knowledge of **Active Directory, NTFS permissions, and Windows shares**. * Experience with **PowerShell scripting** and automation. * Basic understanding of **networking and VPN concepts**. * Ability to work independently and manage tasks end\-to\-end. \#LI\-NO1 \#LI\-Remote Capgemini is a global business and technology transformation partner, helping organizations to accelerate their dual transition to a digital and sustainable world, while creating tangible impact for enterprises and society.
