We are looking for a **Junior Java Spring Boot Developer** to deliver targeted enhancements to APIs, microservices, and automated tests following established patterns. You will help implement security and integration requirements, strengthen Istio validations, and keep technical documentation up to date. Apply to join the team.
**Responsibilities**
* Adjust existing APIs to enable required platform readiness
* Add required headers and fields to meet IDOR\-related requirements
* Propagate session and token information to the service layer
* Integrate the provided fraud\-management library into backend services
* Implement basic Istio validations between API and service layers
* Develop and update unit, specialized, and E2E tests using Karate
* Document technical changes and attach execution evidence
* Fix defects identified during functional certification and QA
* Execute development tasks on prioritized services according to planned waves
* Update Swagger and OpenAPI definitions to match established guidelines
* Implement required adjustments for consuming corporate libraries
* Validate API\-to\-service communication and Istio integration behavior
* Build positive and negative test scenarios for key flows
* Support fixes resulting from QA, certification, and deployment windows
* Maintain change traceability in repositories and client tools
**Requirements**
* 2\+ years of Java and Spring Boot experience building backend services
* 2\+ years of API and microservices experience in a Microservice Architecture Style
* Hands\-on Apache Camel experience supporting service integrations
* Basic technical leadership skills to coordinate with peers and follow defined standards
* Project execution skills to deliver changes across prioritized service waves
* Strong unit testing skills and experience with E2E testing using Karate
* Solid OpenAPI and Swagger skills to align specifications with guidelines
* Good troubleshooting skills to resolve defects found during QA and certification
* Upper\-Intermediate English proficiency (B2, Upper\-Intermediate)
**Nice to have**
* Docker experience for local development and service packaging
* Kubernetes experience to support containerized deployments
* Azure DevOps experience for pipelines and work item tracking
* Performance optimization skills for APIs and microservices
