**Productive Stage Apprentice Requirement** **Area:** Optometry **Schedule:** Full-time (according to SENA regulations) **Modality:** In-person **Required Profile:** We are seeking a **productive stage apprentice from the Technical Program in Health Services Assistant with emphasis on Optometry** (or related fields), affiliated with SENA or an accredited institution, who wishes to carry out their training practice in a specialized visual health clinic. The apprentice will support the optometry and research team in clinical and administrative tasks, with the opportunity to strengthen their knowledge and skills in a real patient care environment. **Expected Training:** * Student in the productive stage of the program: * Labor or Professional Technician in Health Services Assistant / Optometry Assistant / Visual Health Assistant. * Active agreement with SENA or another authorized training institution. **Required Technical Knowledge:** * Fundamentals of ocular anatomy and refractive errors. * Basic knowledge in handling optometric equipment (autorefractor, phoropter, test box, etc.). * Knowledge in visual acuity testing, tonometry, preliminary and auxiliary tests. * Management of visual medical records (preferably digital). * Proficient in office tools (Excel, Word). **Personal Competencies:** * Kind, empathetic, and respectful treatment towards patients. * Willingness for practical learning. * Good verbal and written communication skills. * Attention to detail and responsibility in handling clinical information. * Collaborative attitude and personal appearance appropriate for the healthcare field. **We Offer:** * Learning opportunity in a specialized optometry clinical environment. * Guidance from optometrists and qualified staff. * Participation in real patient care processes. * Opportunity to strengthen clinical and administrative competencies.
