Job Summary: We are seeking a Data Engineer with extensive experience across the full lifecycle of information solution development, database optimization, and a proactive approach to overcoming technical limitations. We seek a **Data Engineer** with extensive experience across the complete information solution development lifecycle—including analysis, design, development, certification, deployment, and maintenance—in On-Premise environments and Big Data technologies. The ideal candidate must demonstrate solid expertise in database optimization and a proactive mindset to overcome technical or process limitations, ensuring robust, efficient, and best-practice-aligned solutions. The ability to lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to accelerate goal achievement is highly valued. **This is a remote position in LATAM**, where you will be assigned to one of our most important clients in the Latin American financial/banking sector. You will work in an agile environment alongside an exceptional team implementing world-class software products. **Requirements** ### **Experience** * + Relational and NoSQL databases; Data Warehouse, Data Mart, Data Lake, and Lakehouse design. + Distributed processing with Hadoop, Spark, and batch/streaming architectures. + Development in Python, Scala, or Java, applying Clean Code principles. + Pipeline construction using ETL tools (Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, SSIS). + DataOps/MLOps strategies and CI/CD deployment. * **Desirable:** Certifications in AWS, Azure, or Big Data, and experience with modern architectures such as Data Mesh or Data Fabric. ### **Responsibilities** * Design and develop data solutions aligned with the Data Architecture vision. * Build and optimize ETLs, ELTs, and APIs for efficient data handling. * Implement testing strategies to validate functional and non-functional quality. * Propose continuous improvements to data processes and products. * Resolve technical incidents and document solutions per established standards. * Mentor and support onboarding of new team members. ### **Tools and Technologies** * Apache Spark, Kafka, Flink, Hadoop, HDFS. * Cloud Services: AWS, Azure, GCP. * Languages: Python, Scala, Java. **Benefits** A stable long-term contract.
