Introduce observability practices to monitor reliability and performance We are building a team around a **Senior Cloud Engineer** who can deliver optimized serverless architectures and reliable cloud performance on AWS. You will work closely with stakeholders and engineers to automate workflows, test thoroughly, and improve observability—apply today. \#LI\-DNP **Responsibilities** * Architect and deploy AWS serverless solutions using Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and Step Functions * Align with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and turn them into technical designs * Deliver robust, reusable software that adheres to serverless architecture principles * Automate and improve development and operational workflows to boost efficiency and scalability * Perform extensive testing to validate functionality and address issues as they occur * Create and maintain detailed documentation for configurations, development workflows, and system changes while following best practices * Build and manage infrastructure via Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CDK and Terraform * Introduce observability practices including logging, metrics, and tracing to monitor reliability and performance * Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to design, develop, and release features and ensure a seamless handover for ongoing support **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field * Minimum of 3 years of hands\-on experience creating serverless applications using AWS technologies * Strong knowledge of AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and Step Functions for scalable application builds * Programming proficiency in JavaScript, Python, Java, or Golang * Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CDK and Terraform, plus Jenkins pipelines and GitHub Actions * Expertise in observability practices such as logging, metrics, and tracing to protect system health and performance * Advanced analytical skills to troubleshoot and solve complex technical challenges * Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging stakeholders and collaborating across teams * Ability to translate business goals into effective technical solutions * Fluent English proficiency (written and spoken) at B2 (Upper\-Intermediate) level or higher **Nice to have** * AWS certifications in serverless architecture or application development * Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and microservices architecture to improve delivery speed and scalability **We offer** * International projects with top brands * Work with global teams of highly skilled, diverse peers * Healthcare benefits * Employee financial programs * Paid time off and sick leave * Upskilling, reskilling and certification courses * Unlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning library and 22,000\+ courses * Global career opportunities * Volunteer and community involvement opportunities * EPAM Employee Groups * Award\-winning culture recognized by Glassdoor, Newsweek and LinkedIn
