An electricity and telecommunications company with over **21 years of market experience** is looking for an **Electrical Resident Engineer** for its team in **Medellín**, with experience in the execution and supervision of electrical projects.
Main Responsibilities
* Lead, coordinate, and supervise the execution of project electrical activities.
* Monitor construction progress, verifying compliance with the established schedule.
* Coordinate and supervise field activities carried out by operational staff and contractors.
* Verify that executed work complies with drawings, designs, technical specifications, and established quality standards.
* Interpret electrical drawings and validate correct on-site execution of activities.
* Coordinate with third-party oversight (interventoría) and other involved departments regarding activities required for project development.
* Monitor performance, progress, and achievement of established project targets.
* Prepare periodic reports on progress, incidents, and project execution status.
* Timely identify deviations, difficulties, or situations that may affect project development and propose appropriate corrective actions.
* Participate in follow-up meetings with the client, oversight team (interventoría), and project team.
* Ensure compliance with applicable technical standards, internal procedures, and project quality standards.
* Support planning and scheduling of activities necessary to meet established timelines.
* Monitor activity closure and delivery of completed work.
Required Profile
* Professional degree in **Electrical Engineering**, with a valid professional license.
* Minimum **2 years of experience as a Resident Engineer or in roles related to the execution and supervision of electrical projects**.
* Experience in projects involving **electrical networks, distribution, lighting, substations, electrical infrastructure, telecommunications, or related fields**.
* Knowledge of drawing interpretation, technical specifications, construction scheduling, and progress monitoring.
* Leadership, organizational, monitoring, and problem-solving capabilities.
* Ability to coordinate work teams and maintain effective communication with clients, oversight personnel (interventoría), contractors, and operational staff.
* Availability for on-site work and travel to various construction sites as required by the project.
Working Conditions
