This role is responsible for building and operating modern cloud security capabilities that protect millions of payment transactions while enabling engineering teams to move quickly and securely. You'll partner closely with Infrastructure, Engineering, Compliance, and Product teams to continuously improve our security maturity across detection, response, automation, cloud security, and regulatory compliance. **Who You Are** * 8\+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, with at least 3 years leading Security Operations or Security Engineering teams. * Strong experience securing cloud\-native environments, preferably AWS. * Hands\-on experience with SIEM platforms (Wazuh, Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar, Elastic, or similar). * Experience with EDR solutions such as CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Microsoft Defender, or equivalent. * Deep understanding of Identity and Access Management, Zero Trust principles, and privileged access controls. * Strong knowledge of vulnerability management, CVE prioritization, and remediation programs. * Experience leading security incident response and forensic investigations. * Familiarity with Infrastructure\-as\-Code and CI/CD security practices. * Experience supporting compliance programs including PCI DSS, SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, or similar regulatory frameworks. * Excellent communication skills with both technical and executive stakeholders. **Technical Skills** * AWS Security * Network Security * Security Monitoring * Threat Detection * Incident Response * SIEM Engineering * Vulnerability Management * Security Automation * Scripting languages for automation * API Security * DevSecOps practices **Mindset** * Thinks like both an attacker and a defender. * Enjoys automating repetitive security work. * Makes pragmatic security decisions that enable business growth rather than creating unnecessary friction. * Comfortable working in fast\-moving engineering organizations. * Uses data and risk to prioritize work. * Strong ownership mindset with excellent incident leadership skills. **What You'll Do** * Lead the Security Operations function across DEUNA's production and corporate environments. * Own security monitoring, threat detection, and incident response processes. * Build and continuously improve SIEM, detection rules, alerting, and security automation. * Lead vulnerability management, remediation tracking, and risk prioritization. * Partner with Infrastructure and Engineering teams to embed security into cloud architectures and software delivery pipelines. * Drive cloud security initiatives across AWS, Kubernetes, containers, IAM, networking, and secrets management. * Manage endpoint security, identity security, privileged access management, and access reviews. * Coordinate external penetration tests, red team exercises, and security assessments. * Lead investigations of security incidents and perform post\-incident reviews with clear corrective actions. * Own security tooling including SIEM, EDR, CSPM, vulnerability scanners, and security monitoring platforms. * Support PCI DSS, SOC 1, SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and future security certifications. * Collaborate with Compliance during customer security questionnaires, audits, and evidence collection. * Develop security metrics, dashboards, and executive reporting. * Mentor and grow the Security Operations team while fostering a security\-first engineering culture. * Evaluate emerging threats and recommend improvements to DEUNA's security strategy. * Drive adoption of AI\-assisted security operations and automation where appropriate. ***Join us at DEUNA , and be part of a dynamic team that's transforming e\-commerce payments in LATAM*****What will you find when you join DEUNA?** * A multicultural team distributed throughout LATAM * Dynamism, agility and constant innovation * Being part of a high\-impact solution for an entire region * The best tools and technology to operate * Being part of the startup culture. * We are in full expansion! **Benefits:** Vacations and additional PTO \\uD83C\\uDFDD️ Remote work from anywhere \\uD83D\\uDCBB Economic support for health insurance, internet and cell phone line\\uD83D\\uDCF1\\uD83C\\uDF10 We all own DEUNA, we offer stock options \\uD83D\\uDCB8 Learning and development platform \\uD83D\\uDCDA Multidisciplinary, diverse and dynamic team \\uD83E\\uDDE1 Growth and career path \\uD83D\\uDE80 Be part of a dynamic team that's creating the next generation payments platform. *DEUNA is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
