**Job Description**
Visa is seeking an exceptional **Senior Consultant, Business Enhancements Release (BER) Program Management** to help drive one of Visa's most critical enterprise readiness programs. This role sits at the intersection of Product, Technology, and Client Services and provides a unique opportunity to influence how Visa delivers change to clients around the world.
This is a PMO/program management role focused on governance, planning discipline, readiness visibility, risk management, and executive reporting. The role does not directly own product delivery, technical release management, client communications, or go\-to\-market execution, but partners closely with the accountable teams for each area.
This role requires a highly organized and proactive program leader who can operate effectively in a fast\-paced, complex environment. The successful candidate will bring structure to ambiguity, identify risks before they become issues, and drive alignment across a highly matrixed global organization. They will also help shape the future of release governance, client readiness, operational excellence, and enterprise transformation initiatives.

The successful candidate will help create visibility, alignment, and accountability across a global network of stakeholders while ensuring release objectives are achieved with quality and predictability. Through strong execution and continuous improvement, this individual will play a visible role in strengthening release readiness, operational effectiveness, and client experience.
Key Responsibilities
* **Program Governance**
* Facilitate cross\-functional planning and track execution progress across Product, Technology, Testing, Operations, Client Services, regional teams, and vendor partners.
* Manage program risks, dependencies, and critical milestones while driving accountability for key outcomes.
* **Executive Reporting**
* Develop executive\-level reporting and communications that provide clear visibility into program health, risks, and readiness.
* Support leadership governance forums with actionable insights, recommendations, and decision support.
* Monitor key performance indicators and proactively escalate issues requiring leadership attention.
* **Stakeholder Coordination**
* Build trusted partnerships across Product, Technology, Client Services, Regional teams, and external vendors.
* Partner with Client Services and communications owners to track client\-communication readiness, confirm key milestones, and ensure communication dependencies are visible in the overall program plan.
* Influence stakeholders across a matrixed environment to drive alignment, accountability, and execution.
* **Transformation \& Continuous Improvement**
* Drive initiatives that improve release governance, operational efficiency, client readiness, and scalability.
* Identify opportunities to simplify processes, increase automation, and leverage data\-driven and AI\-enabled capabilities.
* Champion continuous improvement and operational excellence across the release lifecycle.
Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.**Qualifications**
Basic Qualifications
* 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD.
* Experience in card payment systems and the four\-party industry model.
Preferred Qualifications
* 8–10 years of experience in Program Management, PMO, enterprise program governance, technology program coordination, business operations program management, or related functions.
* Demonstrated success leading complex cross\-functional initiatives in a global, matrixed organization.
* Proven ability to operate independently, manage ambiguity, and drive results with limited direction.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and deadlines simultaneously.
* Experience supporting technology, payments, financial services, or large\-scale operational programs.
* Strong analytical, risk management, and problem\-solving capabilities.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to executive audiences.
* Experience developing executive communications, dashboards, performance reporting, and decision\-support materials.
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Jira, Confluence, and modern program management practices.
