We are seeking a proactive, dynamic, and committed professional for the position of Automation Project Engineer. Key Responsibilities: * Lead automation, robotics, and control system integrations. * Coordinate and supervise the technical team, ensuring adherence to the work plan. * Actively participate in assembly, wiring, configuration, testing, and commissioning. * Perform on-site technical adjustments, fault detection, and troubleshooting. * Prepare technical documentation: bills of materials, drawings, reports, and manuals. * Validate full functionality of the solution prior to customer delivery. * Interact with industrial or educational clients to clarify requirements and explain progress. Requirements: * Degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. * 2–4 years of experience in system integration, PLCs, robotics, or industrial automation and control. * Field experience: assembly, testing, industrial communications, sensors, actuators. * Proficiency in PLC/HMI platforms (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Omron, or others). * Ability to read electrical schematics and use CAD software. * Willingness to travel to plants or client sites across Colombia. * English (Desirable) Employment Conditions: Indefinite-term contract. Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; one Saturday every 15 days, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (on-site). Salary: COP $3,000,000 – $4,000,000.
