Continuous training in new BIM technologies ### **Description** **BIM Resident** ================= Grupo Ortiz **Location:** Barrancabermeja \- Santander, Colombia **Required Experience:** 3 years Grupo Ortiz, a leading company in the construction and engineering sector, is looking to incorporate a **BIM Resident** into its team. This position is intended for Civil Engineers, Architects, or professionals from related disciplines who wish to develop themselves in a dynamic and collaborative environment. ### **Job Description** The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing the project’s modeling, planimetry, and generating its technical documentation. We seek a highly organized individual with strong proficiency in technological tools and the ability to work effectively in a team. ### **Responsibilities** * **BIM Modeling:** Develop and manage BIM models using software such as Revit and Civil 3D, ensuring compliance with established guidelines in company and project protocols, manuals, and procedures. * **CAD Drafting:** Produce technical drawings in AutoCAD across various disciplines, adhering to quality standards defined by CCLF. * **Coordination:** Collaborate with other departments and professionals to ensure proper integration of models and technical documents into the project’s workflow. * **Planimetry Review:** Evaluate and verify project planimetry, ensuring compliance with current technical specifications and regulatory requirements. * **Technical Documentation:** Generate and manage required technical documentation, including descriptive reports, drawings, and other relevant documents necessary for project execution. * **Use of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC):** Utilize the Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) platform for collaborative project management, ensuring information remains up-to-date and accessible to all team members. ### **Requirements** * University degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related fields. * Certification, diploma, master’s degree, or equivalent accredited program in BIM methodology with emphasis on Revit. * Minimum of 3 years’ experience in BIM modeling, preferably on construction projects. * Advanced knowledge of modeling software such as **Revit**, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD. * Experience using project management tools, especially Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC). * Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively across disciplines. * Attention to detail and analytical skills to resolve issues related to modeling and technical documentation. ### **What We Offer** * Professional development opportunity within a renowned company in the construction sector. * A collaborative and dynamic work environment, with opportunities to work on innovative and large-scale projects. * Continuous training in emerging technologies and work methodologies related to BIM.
