Job Description: We are seeking a technical assistant or student with knowledge in information technology and computing to support preparation, installation, and configuration activities for computing equipment (laptops and desktops), as well as other operational tasks in the technical laboratory. The ideal candidate should possess skills in operating system installation, basic hardware and software handling, and willingness to learn. This position is critical to ensuring that equipment is ready for delivery to internal or external customers. Responsibilities: Install and configure operating systems (primarily Windows). Physically prepare equipment: cleaning, labeling, peripheral inspection. Perform basic software and driver configurations. Verify proper equipment functionality prior to delivery. Provide basic support to the technical laboratory. Document processes and update preparation logs.
