In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining secure recovery environments using GKE, Vault, Terraform, and CI/CD tools. You will ensure that essential platform services—such as container orchestration, secrets management, identity\-linked dependencies, and automated backup and restore—are robust, scalable, and repeatable. Collaboration with identity, network, and database teams will be key to supporting cross\-organization restores, foundational tooling recovery, image pipeline automation, and streamlined infrastructure provisioning. **Responsibilities** * Design and automate GKE\-based recovery platforms, image factory pipelines, and supporting CI/CD workflows using Jenkins, Terraform, and Vault * Implement secure secrets management and integrate identity solutions for systems dependent on Active Directory, including Jenkins and Vault * Support cross\-organization database recovery, manage Cloud SQL restore processes, and validate backup integrity * Develop foundational automation for dynamic greenfield environments, including domain setup and credential sanitization * Collaborate on the architecture of recovery solutions, plan for failover scenarios, and establish environment isolation strategies **Requirements** * Minimum 3 years of experience as a Platform Engineer * Advanced expertise in GKE or Kubernetes for container orchestration * Proficient in using Terraform for infrastructure automation and Vault for secrets management * Hands\-on experience with CI/CD automation, particularly with Jenkins * Strong understanding of cloud platform recovery processes, identity integration, and secure infrastructure design * English proficiency at B2\+ level or higher, both written and spoken **Nice to have** * Experience with Cloud SQL restore workflows for database recovery * Familiarity with Ping Identity for advanced identity management * Background in cross\-cloud recovery strategies for resilient platform operations * Knowledge of air\-gapped build pipelines for secure and isolated deployments
