We are looking for an AI Lead to join Dropi to design, develop, and deploy the artificial intelligence solutions redefining how we operate across Latin America — delivering measurable impact on delivery rate, monetization, and operational efficiency. What You’ll Do at Dropi? Roadmap Execution: Translate the AI roadmap into concrete execution plans. Modeling & Deployment: Design and deploy ML models for return prediction, carrier selection, segmentation, and other use cases. Solution Architecture: Define and implement the technical architecture for AI products, ensuring scalability, cost efficiency, and multi-tenant security. MLOps & Quality: Implement MLOps practices, drift monitoring, A/B testing, and observability for LLM-based products. Business-Aligned Delivery: Collaborate with Commercial, Logistics, Product, and Technology teams to translate prioritized opportunities into deliverables with clear metrics. AI Governance: Apply and enhance policies for responsible AI use, model security, and ethical algorithm deployment. Team Leadership and Cross-Functional Collaboration. Your Superpowers: Education: Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. Experience: 5+ years in Data Science, AI Engineering, or Machine Learning Engineering roles, with at least 2 years leading technical teams. Applied LLMs: Experience building agents, RAG systems, function calling, model evaluation, and production deployment of LLM-based products. Machine Learning MLOps: Full model lifecycle management Cloud AI: AWS (especially Bedrock and SageMaker). Familiarity with Vertex AI or Azure ML is a plus. Technical Stack: Advanced Python, advanced SQL, vector databases, LLM provider APIs (Claude, OpenAI, Gemini). Strong understanding of data architecture (Data Lake, Lakehouse) and integration with analytical and transactional systems. CI/CD, containers, and infrastructure.
