Responsibilities: -Post weekly bank transactions and reconcile monthly bank statements. -Prepare intercompany fund transfer journal entries. -Maintain the fixed assets register; record fixed asset additions and depreciation; and perform monthly fixed asset reconciliations. -Reconcile deposits and other asset accounts. -Prepare monthly and quarterly balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance. -Perform monthly and quarterly balance sheet and P&L flux analysis and summarize key drivers/variances. -Prepare supporting schedules, documentation, and account analyses for audits. -Report to the Accounting Manager and contribute to continuous improvement of accounting processes and internal controls. -Support accounting system implementations and transformation initiatives to automate and improve the close process. -Assist the GL team with ad-hoc analyses and special projects; collaborate cross-functionally as needed. -Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements: -Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred. -2+ years of accounting experience; experience in financial services, fintech, and/or SaaS strongly preferred. -Hands-on experience with general ledger accounting and month-end/year-end close. - REQUIREMENT -Experience supporting international operations, multiple legal entities, and intercompany transactions. -Strong understanding of GAAP and the relationship between cash activity and balance sheet/P&L accounts. -Advanced Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, PivotTables, IF functions, SUMIFS). -Tech-savvy; experience with ERP and reporting systems required—NetSuite experience highly preferred. -Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines with strong attention to detail. -English B2+ About the company: Tipalti is transforming finance and helping the hottest companies grow and scale their global finance operations.
