2. Joining a high-impact team
3. Evolving CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure
At Dropi, we are transforming how e-commerce is done in LATAM—and we want you to be part of this story.
We are seeking a Middle DevOps Engineer to join a high-impact team focused on the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle—from commit to production. You will work alongside the engineering team to evolve pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and release processes that empower all development cells.
What You’ll Do:
Operate and maintain existing CI/CD pipelines.
Support developers daily: unblock pipelines, configure environments, and automate repetitive tasks.
Execute deployments to QA, staging, and production following defined release strategies (blue/green, canary, rollback).
Write and maintain application-level infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), within the scope defined by Infrastructure.
Manage service-specific secrets and configurations, integrating them into pipelines and runtime.
Build and maintain service-level observability dashboards (logs, metrics, traces) and configure actionable alerts.
Participate in on-call rotations for pipelines and applications—diagnosing incidents and escalating platform-level issues to Infrastructure with evidence.
Document runbooks and critical deployment/rollback procedures.
Your Superpowers:
2–3 years of experience in DevOps / SRE / Platform Engineering roles.
Hands-on AWS operations: ECS or EKS, RDS, ECR, IAM/SSO.
Containers: Docker (and orchestration concepts).
Practical CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, or similar): building and debugging pipelines.
Application-level Terraform.
Scripting: Bash and/or Python.
Observability: dashboards and alerts (Datadog preferred; equivalent experience accepted).
Git and branch-based workflows.
Nice to Have:
Deep Kubernetes expertise.
Advanced release strategies (canary, feature flags).
Secrets management (AWS Secrets Manager, Vault).
Basic FinOps / cost optimization awareness.
Using AI as an accelerator (Claude, Copilot, Cursor) for automation and scripting.
Experience building internal developer platforms.
At Dropi, you’ll be part of a company redefining the future of digital commerce in LATAM. -Requirements- Minimum education: University degree / Professional program
