This role focuses on accelerating AI adoption in research, fostering collaboration, and driving impactful programs that empower scientific communities to achieve breakthroughs. **Responsibilities** * Collaborate with partners and internal technical specialists to develop platforms and tools that operationalize AI in science * Address foundational blockers to cloud\-based AI use in scientific research, encompassing people, processes, and technology * Support partner organizations in advancing commercial opportunities involving scientific data and applications * Build and nurture an active ‘AI for Science’ community of practice, sharing innovations, education, and training across the ecosystem * Organize and deliver “art of the possible” sessions such as webinars and in\-person events to showcase AI’s potential in various research domains * Synthesize insights from partner engagements to develop cross\-functional strategies for addressing data challenges in research landscape * Communicate effectively at tactical and strategic levels, including delivering impactful presentations to internal and external stakeholders **Requirements** * Tertiary qualifications in science or equivalent experience * 7\+ years of hands\-on experience using machine learning in a research setting * Demonstrated ability to plan and execute projects with a results\-oriented approach * Strong expertise in interpersonal and networking skills; proven capability to establish and maintain robust relationships and networks * Background in tactical and strategic communications, including crafting high\-impact presentations * Proficiency in Google Cloud data and analytics technology stack * Advanced proficiency in English (C1\+) **Nice to have** * Postgraduate research experience in scientific disciplines * Experience in community\-building initiatives * A record of innovation, creativity, or communication in scientific environments
