We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer (Go/Golang) to join our team with a technical mindset, focus on quality, and eagerness to learn and make real impact at one of the fastest-growing e-commerce startups in Latin America. What will you do? Develop and maintain backend services focused on product logic. Build and optimize APIs for inter-system communication. Work with relational databases, ensuring proper information management. Participate in implementing new features and continuous system improvements. Collaborate closely with product, frontend, and QA teams to deliver comprehensive solutions. Support integration with external services and ecosystem tools. Interact with other components of the technological ecosystem, including services written in JavaScript and PHP. Contribute to codebase quality, stability, and maintainability. Your superpowers 1–4 years of backend development experience. Prior experience working with Go (Golang), as it will be the primary language for this role. Proficiency with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or others). Experience working in agile and collaborative teams. Use of AI-assisted coding agents as a tool to enhance development. AWS or cloud environment knowledge is a plus. Desirable: familiarity with PHP and JavaScript.
