Wood is seeking a Civil Engineer to join its Projects business unit, focusing on the Oil, Gas and New Energies (OGNE) area. This opportunity is onsite.
**The Role**
Wood Colombia is seeking a professional engineer in civil engineering or related fields, with 0–2 years of specific experience in engineering projects within the Oil \& Gas/Energy/Industrial sector, to serve as a Civil Engineer with English proficiency at B2 level, based in Bogotá.

* Review reports and utilize data obtained from topographic surveys, soil studies, and hydraulic studies.
* Ensure designs comply with national and international codes and standards such as NSR\-10, RAS, API, ASTM, OSHA regulations, as well as client specifications and sound engineering practices.
* Participate in interdisciplinary document reviews to ensure proper information handling and engineering integrity.
* Attend internal meetings for technical project review/definition.
* Attend scheduled workshops during project execution, such as peer review, constructability, and design review.
* Identify and promptly report new workplace hazards and environmental aspects.
* Promptly report accidents, incidents, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to HSSE and COPASST.
* Use resources (water, energy, paper) consciously and rationally, and separate generated waste.
* Conduct safety moments at the start of internal meetings or with visitors, where applicable.

**Essential:**
Carry out activities and produce documents necessary to achieve optimal designs in assigned projects, ensuring quality, timely delivery, and required operational safety and economic feasibility. Lead small work teams and provide technical support—under the guidance of the Discipline Lead—for the development of Civil Engineering designs (Geotechnical, Hydraulic, Roadway, and Topographic) in assigned projects, ensuring quality and required safety.
