Proficiency in diagnostic tools and industrial safety standards At HB Sadelec, we seek a Mechanical Technician with experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of heavy equipment and vehicles. The candidate must possess knowledge of diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, ensuring equipment reliability and availability. Main Responsibilities: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on heavy equipment and vehicles. Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic failures using diagnostic tools and equipment. Repair and replace mechanical components according to technical specifications. Conduct periodic inspections to ensure equipment safety and operational readiness. Complete work orders and maintenance reports. Comply with occupational health and safety procedures and environmental regulations. Maintain tools and the work area in optimal condition. Required Knowledge: Maintenance of heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, backhoe loaders, motor graders, among others). Maintenance of light and heavy vehicles. Hydraulic, pneumatic, diesel engine, and transmission systems. Interpretation of technical manuals. Use of diagnostic and measurement tools. Industrial safety standards. Working Conditions Location: Bogotá D.C. Contract Type: Project-based or task-based. Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday.
