Your primary challenge will be coordinating from raw material procurement abroad through to the delivery of our agrochemical products to distributors or final agricultural fields anywhere across the national territory—all while optimizing last-mile costs and guaranteeing the highest safety standards for chemical substance transportation. Your key responsibilities and challenges: * **Distribution Network Management:** Design and oversee land transportation strategy, ensuring fleet compliance (owned or outsourced) with regulations governing hazardous materials (**Hazmat**) transportation. * **Strategic Negotiation and Procurement:** Lead selection, contracting, and evaluation of logistics providers, packaging companies, and heavy cargo carriers. * **Route and Cost Optimization:** Make critical decisions for nationwide coverage, defining cargo consolidation schemes or direct dispatches to maximize vehicle capacity and reduce cost per kilogram/liter transported. * **Strategic Partnerships:** Establish service-level agreements (**SLAs**) with carriers to ensure cargo priority during peak agricultural demand seasons (planting periods). * **Reverse Logistics:** Coordinate return of containers and packaging with transportation partners, ensuring compliance with current environmental regulations. What We Are Looking For: * Professionals holding degrees in Industrial Engineering, International Trade, Logistics, Business Administration, or related fields. * Solid experience in supply chain coordination, national distribution logistics, and import operations. * Essential knowledge of handling and transporting **chemical substances / Hazmat cargo**. * Strong negotiation skills, strategic business vision, and analytical capability for cost optimization. * Residency in Palmira or willingness to work 100% on-site in this city.
