### **Description** CONCESION LINEA FERREA CENTRAL is seeking a Sustainability Professional with at least 5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for environmental and sustainability management in projects, ensuring regulatory compliance and implementation of innovative strategies. **Key Responsibilities:** * Measuring the carbon footprint of assigned projects. * Designing and implementing effective strategies for carbon footprint reduction and climate change adaptation. * Preparing detailed carbon footprint reports, sustainability reports, NDC (Nationally Determined Contributions) reports, climate change reports, and contractual environmental management reports. * Designing and executing project-specific sustainability plans and programs for railway projects. * Leading the successful implementation of the project’s sustainable contribution program. * Providing support in training processes for project staff and local communities. * Actively collaborating with the Environmental Management Department on other tasks and projects within the area. **Requirements:** * Professional degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, or related fields, with specialization in climate change or sustainability. * Minimum 5 years of proven professional experience in environmental and sustainability management, preferably in infrastructure project sectors. * Solid knowledge of carbon footprint measurement methodologies. * Experience in developing and implementing climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies. * Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality technical and sustainability reports. * Experience managing sustainability projects. * Strong communication and presentation skills for interacting with project personnel, communities, and other stakeholders. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams. * Proficiency in office software (Microsoft Office). **Preferred Qualifications:** * Knowledge of national and international environmental regulations. * Experience in railway projects. * Certifications in sustainability or environmental management. * Familiarity with specialized environmental management software. * Knowledge of life cycle assessment methodologies. * Experience in waste management and circular economy.
