Job Summary: We are seeking a Conventional Lathe Operator with experience in high-precision mechanical parts production, proficient in operating lathes and milling machines, and capable of interpreting manufacturing drawings. Interpretation of manufacturing drawings We are seeking a Conventional Lathe Operator with experience in high-precision mechanical parts production. The ideal candidate must be proficient in operating conventional engine lathes and milling machines, as well as interpreting manufacturing drawings. Responsibilities include setting up work operations, determining cutting parameters for materials to be turned or milled, preparing machines, performing turning and milling operations, and applying dimensional control. Machining experience, knowledge of materials, measurement skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively are required. Qualified to interpret mechanical parts manufacturing drawings, identifying materials, shapes, dimensions, tolerances, and surface finishes. Responsibilities: \-Prepare raw materials for processing; secure and assemble machine components prior to commencing work using mechanical tools or by hand. \-Prepare tools and machines for cutting and polishing metal or similar materials to precise dimensions. \-Operate and monitor conventional machines and tools for metalworking in repetitive operations such as cutting, turning, milling, polishing, drilling, sharpening, and others, according to specified dimensions and finishes. \-Operate and monitor presses or other machines to perform cold or hot forging, drawing, bending, molding, cutting, folding, stamping, and other operations to shape metal. \-Operate and monitor machines, tools, and furnaces for melting, molding, and casting ferrous and non-ferrous metals to produce parts and products. \-Maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments according to technical specifications. We Offer: Salary: $2\.200\.000 \+ Benefits per collective agreement. Rotating schedule: Shifts from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., and 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., with availability on Sundays as required by technical needs.
