Coordinate cross-regional delivery and establish development practices We are seeking a hands\-on **Forward Deployed Engineer / Technical Lead** to modernize and expand a supply chain logistics portal used to manage hardware fulfillment and shipment visibility for clients. You will assess the current system, align stakeholders, and lead delivery across regions while building key improvements. Apply to help ship impactful workflow upgrades. **Responsibilities** * Assess the existing portal architecture and identify bottlenecks, UX friction, and workflow optimization opportunities * Lead stakeholder discovery with internal teams and clients to gather requirements across logistics and supply chain operations * Architect scalable features and integrations that improve shipment tracking and order fulfillment visibility * Build and ship high\-impact features using internal UI platforms and frameworks * Define PRDs, user stories, and API specifications that translate business needs into executable plans * Coordinate cross\-regional delivery by delegating work, unblocking teams, and running code reviews with offshore engineers in India * Establish standard development practices and serve as the US technical anchor to scale feature delivery **Requirements** * 5\+ years of experience with Java in full\-stack or backend development * Experience in technical systems architecture or technical product engineering for enterprise web applications * Proven leadership experience leading offshore delivery teams, including scoping and task allocation * Strong project execution skills writing PRDs, user stories, and API specifications * Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs and secure cross\-platform data integrations * Strong understanding of event\-driven architectures and integration patterns * Excellent communication skills to translate hardware logistics workflows into technical requirements for clients * English proficiency: B2 Upper\-Intermediate **Nice to have** * Supply chain systems or order management systems (OMS/SCM) experience * Hardware logistics or B2B client portal experience * Jetski framework experience * Partner portal framework experience **We offer** * International projects with top brands * Work with global teams of highly skilled, diverse peers * Healthcare benefits * Employee financial programs * Paid time off and sick leave * Upskilling, reskilling and certification courses * Unlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning library and 22,000\+ courses * Global career opportunities * Volunteer and community involvement opportunities * EPAM Employee Groups * Award\-winning culture recognized by Glassdoor, Newsweek and LinkedIn *EPAM is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
