**Job Description** ------------------- Main Functions * Design, implement, and manage perimeter security solutions based on Fortinet technologies (FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager, FortiAuthenticator, among others). * Operate and monitor Fortinet devices, ensuring the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of the technology infrastructure. * Configure and manage security policies, VPNs, NAT, application control, and web filtering, aligned with institutional cybersecurity requirements. * Detect, analyze, and mitigate security threats or incidents using monitoring and event correlation tools. * Perform vulnerability analysis and propose preventive and corrective actions for network and security infrastructure. * Manage updates, patches, and preventive maintenance on Fortinet equipment and other perimeter security solutions. * Prepare technical and management reports, documenting configurations, incidents, and corrective actions. * Support security audits and regulatory compliance, ensuring process traceability and adherence to security policies. * Provide specialized technical support and advise other departments on matters related to cybersecurity and perimeter security. **Qualifications** Professional in Systems Engineering, Telecommunications, or related fields, with NSE4 certification or higher (or equivalent in the new version of the Fortinet program). With more than 3 years of experience operating Fortinet devices and at least 2 years designing, operating, and supporting perimeter security and cybersecurity solutions. Solid knowledge of network security architectures, segmentation, VPNs, deep packet inspection, threat management, access policies, and incident response.
