Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and responsible Steward/Kitchen Cleaning Assistant to ensure hygiene and organization of tableware and surfaces. Key Highlights: 1. Key support in maintaining cleaning and disinfection. **JOB POSTING: STEWARD / KITCHEN CLEANING ASSISTANT (WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS)** We seek a proactive, responsible, and detail-oriented individual to join our team during periods of highest operational demand. **Position Objective** Ensure cleaning, disinfection, and proper organization of tableware, dishware, utensils, and kitchen surfaces during weekend peak service hours, in accordance with hygiene and food safety standards. **Main Responsibilities** * Washing and disinfection of dishware, glassware, cutlery, and kitchen cookware. * Maintaining hygiene in work areas, floors, and kitchen equipment. * Sorting and removal of waste according to recycling and hygiene protocols. * Assisting with disinfection at the conclusion of weekend operations. **Requirements** * **Experience:** Minimum 6 months in cleaning, stewarding, or kitchen roles within restaurants, hotels, or events. * **Education:** Valid Food Handling Certificate. * **Competencies:** Speed, ability to work under pressure, adaptability, and teamwork. * **Availability:** Exclusively on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays (rotating shifts or closing shifts). **Terms of Offer** * **Employment Type:** Day-rate employment (weekends and holidays). * **Remuneration:** Pro-rata daily payment, calculated strictly based on the current Legal Minimum Wage. * **Benefits:** Social security enrollment (health, pension, occupational risk insurance) and provision of transportation allowance and Sunday/holiday premiums as stipulated by current labor regulations. * **Perks:** Meals provided during the shift.
