**Position: Diesel Mechanic** **Job Description:** We are looking for a **Diesel Mechanic** to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on the **fleet of collection trucks** used in industrial waste collection operations, primarily used oils. The purpose of this position is to ensure vehicle availability, functionality, and safety, contributing to the company's logistical and environmental operational compliance. **Main Responsibilities:** * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems of collection vehicles. * Diagnose mechanical failures and propose timely solutions to ensure fleet operability. * Conduct periodic inspections to verify the overall condition of vehicles (fluid levels, brakes, suspension, tires, etc.). * Coordinate and record maintenance activities in the formats or systems established by the company. * Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and spare parts. * Support planning of scheduled maintenance to minimize downtime. * Comply with industrial and environmental safety regulations during work execution. **Requirements:** * Education: Technician or technologist in diesel mechanics, automotive, or related field. * Minimum of 1 year of experience in diesel engine maintenance, preferably on heavy or cargo vehicles. * Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic brake systems. * Responsibility, organization, and attention to detail. **Working Hours:** Monday to Friday: 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturdays: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. **Employment Conditions:** * Salary: $1\.600\.000 \+ statutory benefits. * Transportation allowance and legal benefits. * Direct employment contract with the company.
