Reference ID **JR125099** Company Name **Rhenus Logistics Colombia S.A.S.** Location **Bogotá**Job Category **Freight Services**Business Unit **Air \& Ocean**Contact Person **Paola Suarez****Job Description** --------------------------- **What You Can Expect** ------------------------ * Coordinate and comprehensively track ocean export shipments from instruction through to operational closure. * Manage bookings with shipping lines/co-loaders, container availability, and coordination of inland transportation to port. * Review instructions, commercial invoice, packing list, and documentation; manage documentary closings and HBL/MBL issuance. * Maintain ongoing communication with customers, overseas agents, shipping lines, carriers, and internal departments, handling exceptions, delays, and requirements. * Ensure system updates and full operational traceability. Manage inquiries, complaints, suggestions, and contingencies, ensuring timely responses and effective solutions. * Track expenses and reviewed sales per shipment, reporting exceptions to Product and Commercial teams. * Analyze and present performance indicators, identifying needs and opportunities for improvement and business growth. * Follow service procedures and guidelines, contributing to continuous improvement. **What You Bring** ----------------------- * Degree in International Trade, Foreign Trade, International Business, or related fields—or equivalent experience. * Minimum 2 years of total professional experience, including at least 1 year specifically in ocean exports, foreign trade, or related operations. * Knowledge of international transportation, export documentation, and shipment coordination. * Competencies in customer service, communication, organization, attention to detail, sense of urgency, follow-up, and problem resolution. **Business Unit** --------------------- **Air \& Ocean** ---------------- Whether it’s a long-distance shipment or a particularly time-critical one—we at Rhenus do everything possible to ensure our customers and partners get their goods safely and on time to their destination.
