




**Environmental Leader position available** Technologist in Environmental Management, Management Systems (ISO 9001 Quality and/or ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety). **KNOWLEDGE**: ISO 9001 - ISO 14001 – ISO 45001 standards, Integrated Management Systems (Quality, Occupational Health and Safety, and Environment). Current regulations and legislation related to Occupational Health and Safety and the environment. Globally Harmonized System Proficiency with Office suite **REQUIRED EXPERIENCE** Minimum 12 months in administrative roles, preferably in Logistics-Transportation, Oil & Chemicals, or Industrial sectors. **FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES** ● Environmental certification ● Inventory-Hazardous Waste Delivery ● Validation of Safety Data Sheets ● Development and execution of environmental programs ● Internal and External Training ● Support for the environmental management system ● Implementation of the Globally Harmonized System ● Investigation of environmental incidents ● Execute sustainability actions for the environment and community necessary for continuous improvement and compliance with the Integrated Policy, objectives and indicators, working conditions, reducing accident rates and environmental impacts as improvement actions, preventive and/or corrective actions contributing to the organization’s continuous improvement. ● Ensure compliance with current national regulations and legislation related to environmental and chemical sectors according to the organization's economic activity. ● Support document management when required or when a need is identified in processes necessary for the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of Environmental Management Systems individually or integrated; according to company-established procedures. ● Support the execution of the organization's housekeeping program. ● Guarantee compliance with the Chemical Risk and Hazardous Waste program. ● Conduct environmental inspections. ● Provide external training to the organization’s clients. ● Continuously communicate protocols, procedures, instructions, and environmental management process formats to corresponding hierarchical levels to achieve commitment from all in their compliance and implementation. ● Report unsafe conditions and acts in the workplace to the Integrated Management Systems Coordinator and Human Management Leader, providing suggestions to resolve such situations that could generate environmental impacts. ● Keep updated matrices of: legal aspects, hazards, environmental aspects. ● Know the company's QMS for potential audits in the assigned work area. ● Actively participate in programs established by the company. ● Use resources such as energy and water rationally. ● Responsible for maintaining good order and cleanliness of their workplace and/or area. ● Use Personal Protective Equipment when required. ● Apply Industrial Safety and Hygiene standards according to safe procedures manuals implemented by the company. ● Comply with provisions, instructions, procedures, and requirements established for the preparation and response to environmental emergencies within facilities and vehicles during service provision and/or transportation. ● Stay informed about hazards and risks, environmental aspects and impacts, and safety risks involved in their activities, established preventive and control measures, and potential consequences of deviating from or failing to comply with established controls. ● Report and support investigations of incidents-accidents (Environmental) occurring during their activities. ● Ensure proper classification of waste generated during activities according to company and/or client requirements. ● Conduct staff training and inductions on topics according to the training schedule and/or needs. ● Maintain order and cleanliness in the RESPEL area. ● Request safety data sheets from suppliers-clients before and/or when updates are identified in the chemical inventory. ● Guarantee and ensure proper storage, handling, and final disposal of chemicals by personnel during activity execution. ● Conduct training, inspection, and monitoring of spill kits. ● Inform the coordinator of any anomalies, repairs, and maintenance needs for equipment and tools. Apply preventive-corrective actions for reported or identified unsafe acts-conditions during planned and unplanned inspections. **QUALITY MANAGEMENT** ● Execute the project for implementation and certification of Integrated Management Systems ISO 45001. ● Execute Corrective, Preventive, and Improvement Actions. ● Plan environmental management work plans required to meet SGA activity requirements. ● Disseminate the company's Management System documentation. ● Support other company departments in process, procedure improvements, and SIG communication. **ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT** ● Comply with the EMS ● Support the project for implementation and certification of Integrated Management Systems ISO. ● Meet requirements for maintaining the ISO EMS. ● Share the company's Management System documentation. ● Support other company departments in process, procedure improvements, and EMS communication. Prepare progress and compliance reports for the EMS. ● Update legal matrix/environmental risks. ● Evaluate environmental aspects and impacts. ● Participate in decision-making and development of projects and processes requiring their involvement. ● Respond to environmental authority requests. ● Ensure environmental conservation. ● Use available resources efficiently (water, **electricity, printing materials**, etc.). ● Ensure proper waste disposal to protect the environment. ● Care for the surroundings. ● Separate waste produced at the workplace. ● Avoid improper use and waste of water. **OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY MANAGEMENT** ● Comply with the OHSMS ● Inform the Integrated Management Systems Coordinator of updates, deviations in Occupational Health and Safety aspects regarding the performance and results of the OHSMS. ● Promote participation from all company members in implementing the OHSMS. ● Validate or develop action plans with area supervisors and monitor their compliance. ● Support investigation of work accidents and incidents. Participate in Safety and Health at Work Committee meetings. **Working hours:** **Monday to Friday from 07:00 am to 05:00 pm** **Two free Saturdays per month** **Salary negotiable** Job type: Full-time
