This position is part of Cargill’s protein and salt business, through which we provide high-quality, nutritious food products to a broad range of customers—from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters. **PURPOSE AND WORK IMPACT** ------------------------------------- The Flock Management Supervisor will be responsible for a designated group of contract- and company-owned farms. This role will work closely with breeder managers, contract breeder producers, and company farms to develop solutions and make decisions that positively impact their area of responsibility and the business’s profitability. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** --------------------------- * Work with contract producers to ensure compliance with policies, laws, and best management practices (including breeding). * Maintain accurate records of billing, mortality, settlements, etc., in the designated system. * Collect fat and blood samples for flock processing. * Communicate and collaborate with growth managers and veterinary staff. * Work with support departments to ensure and deliver required compliance changes. * Other assigned duties. * Responsible for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions for direct reports.
