In this role, you will work with databases, Git, and Python web frameworks, integrate external APIs, and help plan features with the team. **Responsibilities** * Develop dependable web applications powered by Python solutions * Increase efficiency and maintain high availability across web services * Connect external APIs and supplementary services to improve functionality * Coordinate with cross\-functional teams to achieve project objectives * Maintain and optimize existing web platforms to satisfy changing needs * Conduct code reviews and mentor teammates through constructive feedback * Diagnose and fix defects and incidents in web\-based systems * Establish and maintain best practices for web development workflows * Assist with estimating and planning features for new product work **Requirements** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline * Track record of 3\+ years of professional software engineering experience centered on web technologies * Strong command of Python for creating and supporting web projects * Practical knowledge of database management for efficient data storage and retrieval * Advanced use of Git for version control, teamwork, and workflow optimization * Experience using Django, Flask, or FastAPI as Python web frameworks * Understanding of Python web servers used to host and deploy applications * Clear grasp of security principles to safeguard web applications * Exposure to software development methodologies to drive effective execution * Fluency in English, both written and spoken, at a minimum B2 level **Nice to have** * Familiarity with cloud infrastructure for deploying and managing web applications * Experience with Docker and containerization for streamlined environment setup * Comfort working with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to support frontend UX needs
