Job Summary: We are seeking a well-rounded, responsible, proactive individual with experience in hospitality and customer service for a dual-role position as both housekeeper and waiter/waitress. Customer attention and service **VACANCY AVAILABLE – HOUSEKEEPER AND WAITER/WAITRESS!** **Hotel Central Plaza**, located in Santa María, Itagüí, at **Carrera 50 A \# 81 A\-15**, is looking to incorporate an individual into its team for the position of: HOUSEKEEPER AND WAITER/WAITRESS We seek a **well-rounded, responsible, proactive individual with experience in hospitality and customer service**, capable of performing **fully and independently the duties of housekeeping and food service.** **IMPORTANT:** This is a **dual-function position**. The selected candidate must fully perform both roles as **housekeeper and as waiter/waitress**. **This is not a support, assistant, helper, or substitute position.** Both functions are integral to the role and must be performed autonomously. HOUSEKEEPING DUTIES * Room arrangement and cleaning. * Cleaning of occupied rooms and check-out rooms. * Deep cleaning of rooms. * Room organization and preparation. * Cleaning and maintenance of common areas. * Assistance in cleaning external hotel areas. * Reporting of issues found in assigned rooms and areas. * Compliance with the hotel’s established cleaning, order, and presentation protocols. WAITER/WAITRESS DUTIES * In-table customer attention and service. * Menu handling and order taking. * Cash handling and payment processing. * Food and beverage service. * Setup, organization, and cleaning of the restaurant area. * Addressing customer requests and concerns. * Compliance with the hotel’s established service protocols. SHIFTS Schedules are **rotating**, within the time frame of **6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the restaurant. In housekeeping, shifts may be morning, afternoon, or night.** Operations run **seven days a week (Sunday to Sunday)**, according to the hotel’s scheduling and designated rest days. **Management will be responsible for defining shift schedules**, determining on which days the individual will primarily perform **food service duties** and on which days **housekeeping duties**, based on the hotel’s operational needs. CONDITIONS * **Salary:** Current Legal Monthly Minimum Wage (SMLMV). * **Plus applicable statutory surcharges.** * Employment contract in accordance with hotel policies and current labor legislation.
