Position Summary: We are seeking female volunteers aged 40 years or older, with experience in childcare and a vocation for companionship, to join a program focused on the care and protection of vulnerable children, fostering relationships grounded in love and respect. Key Responsibilities: 1. Accompany and care for children in vulnerable situations 2. Foster caring relationships based on love and respect 3. Serve as a role model for good behavior and life skills * ***Profile:*** We are looking for female volunteers to accompany, care for, and protect children in vulnerable situations through the role of grandmothers—or as we call them, “grannies.” Our program promotes the development of caring bonds between children and their “granny” via direct companionship and care rooted in love, respect, and positive treatment. Why become a granny? The initial relationship between a child and their primary caregiver is a strong predictor of the child’s physical and emotional health, as well as their ability to form strong relationships throughout life. * ***Responsibilities:***  Accompany foundation children for a minimum of 4 hours per day, Monday through Friday  Guide the completion of school-related activities  Plan, organize, and carry out birthday celebrations and farewell events  Lead group activities  Support children’s adaptation to the foundation and its routines  Serve as a role model for good behavior and life skills  Accompany and supervise mealtime routines  Propose individual and group activities  Provide cognitive, physical, and sensory stimulation All these responsibilities will be guided and supervised by the program specialist and the psychosocial team * ***Requirements:***  Be a woman aged 40 years or older  Have weekly time availability  Have prior experience in childcare  Hold a personal bank account  Have active EPS (health insurance)  Preferably reside in Suba, Usaquén, or have easy access to CRAN  Preferably have life goals related to childcare (willingness and vocation for companionship); we seek volunteers aligned with our mission. ***Volunteer opportunity with transportation subsidy!*** ***Send your resume to specialistagranny@cran.org.co*** *We want you to join this wonderful program and contribute your grain of sand to all our children!* Position Type: Part-time Expected Hours: At least 20 hours per week Education: * Completed high school diploma (Preferred)
