Summary: As an Accountant Analyst, you will manage and analyze a segment of the business, ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting various accounting and tax activities. Highlights: 1. Support tax, audit, and special projects with required analyses As an Accountant Analyst you will provide clear and accurate information to manage \& analyze a segment of the business, in accordance with accounting principles, government regulations and company practice and policy, while been responsible for various closing, accounting, consolidation \& Tax reporting activities. **What****You’ll****Do** * Perform month\-end closing activities, including preparing reconciliations, posting journal entries, analyzing variances, and ensuring accurate financial reporting in line with regional and corporate deadlines. * Manage and reconcile general ledger and accounts payable items, including pending items, invoice and down payment compensations, tax reports, and credit card expense registrations in SAP. * Provide support across the organization, responding to information requests from internal teams, vendors, auditors, and external stakeholders. * Support tax, audit, and special projects, preparing required analyses, documentation, and information for internal/external auditors and initiatives such as electronic invoicing and payroll. * Drive continuous improvement and innovation, promoting process enhancements, leveraging emerging technologies, and strengthening organizational capability through training and innovation practices. * Assist operational finance tasks, such as invoice registration, cash requests, down payments, and provision entries. **What****We’re****Looking For** * Bachelor's degree in accounting. * \+2 years of experience in accounting. * Strong knowledge of both local and US GAAP accounting rules * Advanced knowledge in Excel **What Will Set You Apart** * English knowledge * Strong analytical skills and ability to understand complex data and issues and proactively develop solutions * SAP experience (user) \#LI\-FM1 Goodyear is one of the world's largest tire companies.
