Join Element Logic as an** **AutoStore System Engineer** **and help develop smart, efficient warehouse automation solutions for our customers.** --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In this role, you’ll design and support MHE system layouts, collaborate with engineering and project teams, work with vendors, and help identify solutions that improve customer operations. **What does Element Logic offer?** * Innovative and creative workplace in a growing business. * Family\-first culture with a key focus on mental wellness. * Flexibility is offered through a hybrid work approach for all roles that can be performed remotely. * Career development plans. * Along with all statutory benefits, you will have access to additional benefits such as private health insurance and a remote work allowance. **Responsibilities:** *Responsibilities include but are not limited to:* * Design, price, and order Material Handling Equipment systems (MHE). * Assist drafters in developing the design of MHE systems using Autodesk Autocad and Inventor. * Assist and Provide feedback to design engineers on customer problems and needs. * Research and draft blueprints, engineering plans, and graphics using design software to develop models and drawings. * Gather all relevant customer’s product and building information for appropriate MHE designs. * Identify solutions to improve customer’s operational efficiency. * Maintain existing engineering records and designs. * Assess design solutions to determine issues or risks. * Estimate cost limits and budgets for new designs. * Produce work orders and purchase orders for implementation of MHE systems. * Collaborate with Sr. Project Engineers to solve MHE installation problems. * Supervise the manufacturing process of all designs. * Coordinate with other design engineers * Communicate with internal software and controls departments as needed to validate designs. * Communicate with vendors for request for quotations, specifications, brochures etc. * Develop and test prototypes when needed. * Air system designer for conveyors and sorters. * Conduct walk\-throughs of the client's distribution center to review workspaces relevant to the project. **Desired skills and experience:** * Education: A bachelor’s degree in design engineering, or in a relevant field, or equivalent years of relevant professional experience. * Years of experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. * Strong computer skills in Excel and AutoCAD including AutoCAD 3D environment * Inventor is a plus * Strong knowledge of MHE systems * Bilingual (Spanish and English) * Willingness to travel * Valid passport * US valid visa **Who are we looking for?** Element Logic is seeking highly motivated, diverse, and talented professionals to join our team.
