Effectively manage risks and service experience Job Description We are seeking a **IT Project Manager** with solid experience in technology infrastructure, data center, and cloud environment projects, responsible for leading the execution of complex projects while ensuring compliance with scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards. This role serves as the coordination point among clients, vendors, contractors, and technical teams, ensuring effective risk management and customer-oriented service experience. **Key Responsibilities** * Support the Program Manager or Project Manager in planning, executing, and monitoring technology projects. * Manage project activities to ensure adherence to timelines, costs, and defined objectives. * Collect, analyze, and manage client requirements, coordinating their prioritization with relevant teams. * Manage user and stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle. * Monitor scope changes, risks, incidents, and dependencies, ensuring appropriate escalation when required. * Coordinate implementation of projects related to: + Data Centers. + Technology infrastructure. + Server implementation and deployment. + Switch and network implementation. + Private cloud solutions and IaaS environments. * Manage multiple vendors, contractors, and technology partners to ensure delivery of agreed-upon outputs. * Continuously monitor project progress, identify risks, and propose corrective actions. * Administer project documentation including: + Work plans. + Meeting minutes. + Summaries. + Status reports. + Risk matrices. + Requirements documents. * Prepare executive reports and progress updates for clients and senior management. * Facilitate follow-up meetings with internal teams, clients, and vendors. * Validate technical and functional deliverables with various project stakeholders. * Maintain proactive, customer-focused communication throughout all project phases. **Requirements** **Academic Qualifications** * Degree in Systems Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or related fields. * Project management certification preferred (PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum, Agile, or equivalent). **Experience** * Over **5 years of professional experience** in technology project management. * Proven experience in: + Design and implementation of data centers. + Enterprise technology infrastructure. + Server implementation and delivery. + Switch and network equipment implementation. + Private cloud solutions. + Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) projects. * Experience coordinating multiple vendors and contractors. * Experience managing risks, schedules, and budgets for technology projects. **Technical Knowledge** * Data Center infrastructure. * Physical servers and virtualization. * Enterprise switching and networking. * Private cloud architectures. * Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS). * Management of technology vendors. * Project management tools. * Preparation of documentation and executive reports. **Languages** **Mandatory** * Advanced English (B2/C1 or higher). **Key Competencies** * Leadership and coordination of multidisciplinary teams. * Excellent communication skills with clients and stakeholders. * Planning and organization. * Risk management and problem resolution. * Service orientation and customer experience focus. * Negotiation and vendor management. * Analytical ability and decision-making. * Working under pressure and managing multiple projects simultaneously. * Proactivity and results orientation. **What We Offer?** **Contract Type:** Fixed-term employment contract **Work Modality:** On-site **Salary:** Competitive and negotiable, based on candidate’s experience and expertise. **Location:** Work at client premises, with presence at two strategic locations in Bogotá (Calle 116 \- Autopista Norte and Fontibón Free Trade Zone). **High-impact projects:** Participation in technology infrastructure, data center, private cloud, and IaaS initiatives for highly relevant clients. **International environment:** Join a company with strong global presence, interacting with multicultural teams and international vendors. **Professional development:** Opportunity to strengthen your expertise in complex infrastructure and technology management projects, working with cutting-edge technologies and industry best practices. **Growth and continuous learning:** Exposure to strategic projects that will enhance your technical, leadership, and stakeholder management capabilities.
