Familiarize yourself with the Diet Manual and protocols to effectively deliver meals to patients: a) Cover with vinyl wrap and label meals requiring labeling. b) Know and ensure strict adherence to the clinic’s protocol regarding proper meal presentation. c) Comply with established service and patient safety protocols for meal delivery. d) Immediately report any incidents occurring at the workstation or area to your supervisor. e) Support meal deliveries on patient floors when requested by your immediate supervisor. f) Stay updated on revisions to the Diet Manual and instructions provided by your immediate supervisor. 2\. Ensure meals are delivered in excellent condition from preparation through delivery, complying with quality standards: a) Perform preparation (washing, peeling, cutting, etc.) of fruits, gelatin, sandwiches, cold or hot beverages during applicable service times (Afternoon Snacks and Dinners). b) Conduct organoleptic tests on food items before assembly. c) Organize meal tickets received for assembling food and utensils. d) Dictate meal orders for assembly during various meal times. e) Verify that tableware meets cleaning and disinfection requirements before use. f) Distribute meals on patient floors during each meal time, if performing duties within a clinic and/or hospital. g) Verify that delivered items match those specified on the meal ticket according to the prescribed diet. h) Complete menu card forms for patients as required by their orders. l) Deliver additional orders. 3\) Comply with the company’s established quality, hygiene, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements. a) Follow quality, food safety, and food security standards, processes, and procedures. i) Verify compliance with portion weights and food presentation for preparation across various services. j) Collect tableware during various service times. k) Process product write-offs and transfers with approval from the immediate supervisor. d) Dictate meal orders for assembly during various meal times. e) Verify that tableware meets cleaning and disinfection requirements before use f) Distribute meals on patient floors during each meal time, if performing duties within a clinic and/or hospital. g) Verify that delivered items match those specified on the meal ticket according to the prescribed diet. h) Complete menu card forms for patients as required by their orders i) Verify compliance with portion weights and food presentation for preparation across various services j) Collect tableware during various service times. k) Process product write-offs and transfers with approval from the immediate supervisor. l) Deliver additional orders. 3\) Comply with the company’s established quality, hygiene, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements. a) Follow quality, food safety, and food security standards, processes, and procedures.
