An important company in the Transportation sector is looking for a Logistics Assistant to promptly attend to internal customers' (Sales and SAC) and external customers' (owners and drivers) requests, ensuring compliance with service conditions in order to timely fulfill offered services, always safeguarding operational profitability. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: * Accurately knowing the services offered by the organization. * Planning the procurement and assignment of vehicles to promptly meet the organization's needs. * Positioning requested vehicles timely and fully meeting customer requirements. * Ensuring compliance with the organization's safety and profitability policies. * Diligently updating in real time the daily monitoring reports of dispatches. * Controlling containers to be dispatched either for returns to ports or delivered at yards assigned by the shipping line, coordinated with Customer Service. * Planning loading and unloading operations for imports, exports, domestic shipments, and logistical operations. * Keeping updated the report for vehicle control indicators, including vehicles assigned on time and vehicles not put into operation from Bogotá. * Coordinating with security the monitoring and scheduling of motorcyclists supporting operational tasks. * Receiving instructions from other departments such as sales and customer service. * Maintaining daily updates of the scheduling chart for the company-owned vehicle fleet. * Updating freight rates at the dispatch office according to current market supply and demand conditions for contracting purposes. * Monitoring pre-operational checks loaded into the system. * Sending logs of attended commitments to SAC, as well as managing office opening and closing controls. **Requirements:** * Technical, technological or professional degree in Logistics, International Trade, International Business, Customs, or related fields. * Two years of experience in cargo transportation and/or logistics companies. * Must possess a valid driver's license and motorcycle license. **Conditions:** * Working hours: Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (with two-hour lunch break) * Salary: $1\.700\.000 * Indefinite-term contract.
