Summary: Network Controllers monitor and recover from incidents across Amadeus' network, perform changes, validate updates, and contribute to automation initiatives. Highlights: 1. Support automation initiatives and contribute to playbooks **Job Title** Network Controller About The Business Area/Department : FLS is responsible for ensuring seamless, 24/7 operational continuity across Amadeus services in the Americas. The team focuses on incident detection, rapid recovery, coordination, and escalation to keep critical platforms running smoothly. Summary of the role: Network Controllers form a 24x7 team (shift work) to monitor the Amadeus network (on premise and cloud) and to identify and recover from incidents as quickly as possible, as well as to perform changes within scope and to approve and control changes to the network by other teams. In this role you’ll: * Recover from incidents as quickly as possible. * Monitor the network status. * Prepare and perform changes that are in scope of Network Operations’ responsi\-bility. * Monitor changes made to the network by other teams (eg Engineering, Firewall Group, Capacity groups ) and, once implemented, to validate the change and closely monitor the changed environment. * Handle equipment faults ensuring that hardware is repaired or replaced. * Report and follow\-up on issues with services from external providers. * Create, review and update operational procedures (OPROCs). Optimise and keep up\-to\-date Network Operation knowledge database (OPROCs).
