We would love to have you join our team! **Job Description** The Technical Leader provides technical leadership, governance, and direction for industrial control and automation projects. This includes ensuring that we align technical solutions with customer requirements, industry standards, and Rockwell Automation best practices. You will be the **technical authority across projects** , supporting Project Engineers and Project Managers, reviewing and approving technical decisions, and ensuring consistency, quality, and robustness of control system architectures and implementations. You will report to the Technical Team lead **Main Responsibilities:** * Be a **technical authority** for control and automation solutions across assigned projects. * Define, review, and approve **control system architectures, design philosophies, and technical standards** . * Provide technical guidance to **Project Engineers and engineering teams** throughout the project lifecycle. * Review and validate **functional specifications, control narratives, and detailed technical designs** . * Ensure compliance with **customer requirements, industry standards, and Rockwell Automation engineering guidelines** . * Participate in **technical clarification meetings** with customers, EPCs, and internal stakeholders. * Support project execution during critical phases such as **design reviews, FAT, SAT, commissioning, and start‑up.** * Identify technical risks and complexity early in the project and define **mitigation strategies** . * Guide technical consistency and reuse of **standard solutions and best practices** . * Support escalation and resolution of **complex technical issues** . * Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes, templates, and technical methodologies. * Provide technical input during **project handover from sales** . **The Essentials – You Will Have** * Bachelor's degree in **Engineering** (Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Control, Mechatronics, or related discipline). * Proficiency in written and spoken English **The Preferred – You Might Also Have:** * **8\+ years of experience** in industrial **control and automation engineering** , with exposure to complex projects. * Expertise in **industrial automation and process control systems** . * Experience of **PLC and/or DCS platforms** (e.g., ControlLogix, CompactLogix, PlantPAx, or equivalent). * Hands‑on experience with **HMI/SCADA** system design and application architecture. * Experience with **instrumentation integration** , control strategies, and field systems. * Experience with **industrial communication networks** (e.g., EtherNet/IP or equivalent). * Review and interpret **technical specifications, RFQs, contracts, and industry standards** . * Experience providing **technical leadership and mentoring** to engineering teams. * Documentation, and technical decision‑making skills. * **Microsoft Office tools** (Excel, Word, Office 365, Teams). **Additional (Plus / Nice to Have)** * Experience in **Oil \& Gas projects** , working with operators, EPCs, and end\-users. * Knowledge of **Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS)** concepts, including functional safety lifecycle and SIL basics. * Familiarity with **IEC 61508 / IEC 61511** functional safety standards. * Familiarity with **F\&G Solutions** * Exposure to **Advanced Process Control (APC)** strategies and control optimization concepts. * **Functional Safety / SIS certification** (TÜV, EXIDA, ISA) * Experience participating in or leading **technical design reviews** and architectural governance boards. * Familiarity with Rockwell Automation standard architectures, libraries, and engineering methodologies. **What we offer:** * Comprehensive mindfulness programs with a premium membership to Calm * Volunteer Paid Time off available after 6 months of employment for eligible employees Company volunteer and donation matching program – We match your volunteer hours or personal cash donations to an eligible charity with a charitable donation. * Employee Assistance Program * Personalized wellbeing programs through our OnTrack program * On\-demand digital course library for professional development.
