Job Summary: A prestigious laboratory seeks a General Services Assistant to perform cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization tasks for materials and areas. Key Highlights: 1. Prestigious Laboratory requires a General Services Assistant, REQUIREMENTS \- Minimum high school diploma. \- Minimum 1 year of certified experience as a General Services Assistant in companies, healthcare facilities, or laboratories. \- Preferably with training courses in cleaning and disinfection. RESPONSIBILITIES: \- Wash, disinfect, and dry materials required for conducting tests, when necessary. \- Sterilize materials required for analysis in the Microbiology Area. \- Clean refrigerators and cooling sinks used for sample collection. \- Keep test-related materials readily available and organized, such as Petri dishes in bulk, pipette tips, knives, spoons, hoses, etc. \- Properly use organizational-provided supplies and assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). \- Adhere to scheduled deep-cleaning and disinfection activities across various laboratory areas, including materials and equipment (refrigerators, ovens, autoclaves, drawers, etc.). \- Dispose of and sterilize soiled materials according to specified procedures. \- Maintain cleaning tools and sanitation equipment in perfect condition and cleanliness. \- Classify organic waste, paper, and solid materials at the Collection Center. \- Perform cleaning and disinfection in laboratory areas. \- Provide support for assigned cleaning tasks, as required.
