If you are a Microbiology professional passionate about sample analysis, laboratory work, and analytical process quality, this opportunity is for you! **What will be your challenge?** You will be responsible for performing and reporting microbiological analyses according to technical procedures, quality standards, and laboratory-established guidelines, contributing to the fulfillment of our accreditation processes and the reliability of results. **Key Responsibilities:** * Perform microbiological analyses on samples received in the laboratory. * Conduct validation and verification tests of analytical methods. * Perform analytical quality controls, including inter-laboratory and intra-laboratory controls. * Prepare standard solutions, culture media, and reagents required for analyses. * Record and report test results promptly. * Ensure proper custody and traceability of samples. * Maintain up-to-date records of equipment, calibrations, verifications, reagents, and solutions. * Ensure proper functioning, cleaning, and maintenance of laboratory equipment and areas. * Properly handle and dispose of laboratory samples and waste. * Support compliance with requirements associated with maintaining accreditation with IDEAM and other applicable certifications. * Comply with established performance indicators and procedures for the position. **What are we looking for?** **Education:** Degree in Microbiology. **Experience:** * Recent graduate with interest and knowledge in microbiology, or * Minimum 1 year of experience in microbiology-related activities. **Knowledge and Competencies:** * Microbiological analysis and report writing. * Handling of laboratory equipment and materials. * Knowledge of laboratory procedures and good laboratory practices. * Analytical ability, attention to detail, and quality orientation. * Organization and responsibility in sample and record management.
