Position Summary: Accounting Coordinator to ensure accounting, tax, and financial management in accordance with IFRS and Colombian regulations, generating strategic information for management. Generate useful financial information for managerial decision-making. **Surtiferreterías** is seeking the following professional for its team: **ACCOUNTING COORDINATOR** **Apply only if you meet the profile** **Purpose of the Position:** Ensure proper accounting, tax, and financial management under IFRS for SMEs and Colombian regulatory requirements, ensuring timely closings, tax compliance, and generation of strategic information for the Finance Lead and Management. **Responsibilities:** * Ensure reliability and reasonableness of accounting and financial information. * Ensure timely accounting closing and quality of financial reports. * Ensure the company’s compliance with tax and regulatory requirements. * Ensure accounting control over financial resources and inventories. * Generate useful financial information for managerial decision-making. * Strengthen internal accounting controls and ensure continuous process improvement to minimize risks and increase operational efficiency. **Requirements:** * Certified Public Accountant with professional license. * Preferred specialization in: IFRS, Taxation, or Finance. * Solid knowledge of financial analysis and tax planning. * Minimum **5 years** of experience in similar roles within commercial-sector companies. * Knowledge of accounting system preferred: SAP Business One. * Advanced intermediate Excel (test required). * Requires a person capable of leading a team, achieving results, and proposing changes to improve productivity. **We Offer:** * Fixed-term contract for 6 months, extendable. * Working hours: Monday to Saturday. * Work location: Public Market, Santa Marta. * Salary negotiable.
