A leading company in the sector requires, for its workforce, an **IMPORT ANALYST**: Intern, recent graduate, and/or professional in foreign trade or related fields. Minimum of two (2) years of experience. Ensure imports are executed on time, profitably, cost-effectively, and in compliance with current regulations. Preferred skills include: teamwork, assertive communication, commitment, analytical/numerical ability, planning and organization, attention to detail, leadership, and proactivity. Responsibilities: · Process payment records once estimates generated by the Import Assistant have been reviewed. · Monitor orders via email and telephone calls once payment documentation has been shared. · Identify which products will be imported via air or sea freight prior to transit from origin to destination; support this decision based on analysis conducted by the International Negotiator and Import Assistant, anticipating document management and review. · Request quotations from freight forwarders, submit them to the immediate supervisor for approval, and ensure that costs quoted by the negotiator are met or result in savings. · Verify that all advance payments made to Indeve are properly invoiced to Importarex; if not, coordinate the necessary follow-up with the immediate supervisor. · Once suppliers notify shipment of goods, register the tracking number in the order tracking control system to verify timely delivery and detect any delays. · Monitor customs clearance of courier shipments to ensure completion within a maximum of three (3) business days. **What do we offer?** **Benefits:** Eye care discounts for employees and their immediate family members; Family Day; and benefits through a compensation fund. **Contract type:** Indefinite-term contract. **Working hours:** Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM; Saturday, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM. **Salary:** COP $1,800,000 + transportation allowance + statutory benefits.
