The company safely delivers gases, services, and technologies through an extensive production and distribution network. **Job Description** -------------------------- Plan, manage, and control the category procurement process, ensuring timely availability of goods and services required by the business. Conduct local and international negotiations and coordinate logistics operations associated with the procurement process, ensuring compliance with quality, quantity, and delivery time standards, minimizing risks, and contributing to the company’s efficiency and profitability. ### **Responsibilities** * Plan, coordinate, and execute category-related procurement of goods and services, ensuring compliance with policies and risk mitigation. * Standardize technical specifications to optimize quotation processes and ensure efficient procurement. * Identify and implement opportunities for improvement, cost savings, and supply chain efficiency. * Analyze market conditions and manage supply chain risks to ensure availability and cost stability. * Comprehensively manage contracts (negotiation, execution, monitoring, and renewal). * Select, evaluate, and develop strategic suppliers. * Manage quotations, comparative analyses, and negotiation of commercial terms. * Address supplier claims and ensure compliance with supplier agreements. * Monitor management indicators (KPIs) and propose improvement actions. * Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations and participate in audits. #### **Requirements** * **Formal Education:** Professional degree in Business Administration / Industrial Engineering / International Relations / International Trade or related fields. * **Experience:** Five (5) years of experience in similar roles within multinational companies. * **Knowledge:** Negotiation techniques; knowledge of products and services in the Plants and National Logistics category; thorough understanding of the procurement process, price analysis, supplier analysis and evaluation, application of SHEQ guidelines for suppliers, administration of procurement information systems, Office tools (advanced Excel), procurement execution in the healthcare sector; spoken and written English. ##### **Competencies** * Customer orientation * Negotiation and problem-solving * Strategic thinking ###### **Culture and Diversity at Messer** *Messer Américas is committed to fostering, cultivating, and preserving a culture that promotes and enables diversity and inclusion.
