Although you will be a fully integrated member of the Little Dot Studios team in LA, your formal employment contract will be managed through our Employer of Record (EOR) partner, Deel, in your country. **What this means for you:** * **Daily Life:** You work 100% for Little Dot Studios, reporting to our managers and attending our team meetings. * **Pay \& Benefits:** Our EOR partner handles your local payroll, taxes, and statutory benefits (like health insurance or pension) to ensure you are fully compliant with your local labor laws. * **Protection:** This model ensures you have a legal employment contract in your home country while enjoying a career with a global company. The Editor is someone who excels at executing assignments/tasks quickly, efficiently, and creatively with little guidance from a manager. The Editor is multi\-disciplined and takes on each new project with an inventive approach. **HOW YOU WILL SPEND YOUR TIME** * Edit original and repurposed footage in Adobe Premiere Pro for social\-first platforms (YouTube, Tiktok, IG Reels) in ways that maximize views, watchtime, and engagement * Work closely with our social video services team to develop, refine and execute concepts that best showcase our clients’ content * Be able to research and source assets independently while adhering to tasteful creative instincts * Follow tight edit schedules and manage multiple deliveries at varying stages * Daily communication with internal teams and clients to ensure notes are addressed in a timely manner * Create with motion graphics and Adobe AfterEffects **WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED** Skills matter, experience is useful, attitude is everything. * Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in film, media or a related field. * Have 3\+ years of professional video editing experience (at an agency, post trailer house, YT channel, or similar.) * Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, with a focus on Premiere Pro, AfterEffects, and Photoshop * Passionate about social video (YouTube, TikTok, IG) and streaming platforms (ie Netflix, Prime Video) * Versatility; you’re just as comfortable editing a Superbowl commercial as you are making compilations of a TV show for Shorts, TikTok, or Reels * Geek out over new tools and industry trends, including AI tools * Know best practices for social\-first video editing, including captioning, motion graphics, and color correction. * Strong communication skills, superb time management, resourceful, and detail\-oriented * Know what it takes to cut something audiences can’t stop watching **USE OF AI IN APPLICATIONS** Please keep it human; we want to get to know **you \-** your thinking, and your originality.
