




**Location**: Cartagena with travel to the project intervention area (Department of Sucre and Bolivar). **Contract duration:** 12 months, with possibility of renewal. **Application deadline**: 11/23/2025 The objective of the Assistant Coordinator position is to provide continuous support to the project coordinator, focusing on field activities (with a team of three technicians) and on the monitoring process of activities and indicators of the logical framework. **RESPONSIBILITIES** · Plan and monitor project activities implementation, under the coordinator's supervision · Support the coordinator and external monitoring expert in designing and monitoring the monitoring plan and the POA (operational plan for activities) · Support the coordinator and external monitoring expert in measuring the project logical framework indicators according to RBM logic (Results-Based Management) · Support the coordinator in managing relations with Colombian partners and project institutional communication activities. · Establish and maintain cooperation based on mutual trust and detailed planning with colleagues, partners, beneficiaries, and authorities. · Coordinate and supervise the work of field technicians (3) · Prepare quarterly, monthly, and weekly work plans; · Conduct field visits to project intervention sites; · Supervise and accompany consultants' work related to the project theme; · Ensure follow-up and technical assistance to beneficiaries; · Prepare activity reports and coordinate preparation of interim reports and final report for the funder together with the administrator · Represent the organization in project activities; · Perform all functions that may be necessary for project implementation; · Collaborate with Logistics, Administration, and M&E departments for program activities implementation in accordance with organizational procedures; **REQUIREMENTS:** · Higher education in management, cooperation, social sciences, international relations, economics or equivalent; · At least 5 (five) years of experience in project coordination; · Experience working with NGOs and managing projects funded by AICS or the European Union; · Work experience and/or knowledge of the project area in Montes de María; · Experience in entrepreneurship and/or agriculture; · Experience in training public institutions and youth; · Skills in report writing; · Excellent command of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, Internet, and document storage on server; · Fluency in spoken and written Spanish; · Knowledge of Italian is considered a preferred but not essential requirement. **For full terms of reference, please send an email to: vladimirvillareal@icei.it** Interested candidates must submit: 1\.
